Clean, quite rooms. Water pressure stinks as with ALL hotels. Room service was horrific as they state rooms are serviced every other day... they lied. Room service NEVER showed up in 3 days!! We had to call down for clean towels! Very good hot breakfast with a wide selection that changed a bit every day. All vehicles are subject to valet parking at $32 PER DAY!!!! Location was excellent as it was in very close proximity (1/4 mile) to Beale Street, the Riverwalk and several restaurants.
The breakfast was spectacular. The ladies there may have been using family recipes because we could stop raving about the homemade biscuits and gravy... and I'm on a weightloss journey. The rooms were adequate but the breakfast staff were the real stars of our stay.
Breakfast was excellent! Sausages, eggs, biscuits, muffins, yogurt, waffles, juice and coffee and more. All 3 ladies, Kim and Quida and Monique were helpful every single day. My son and I really appreciate their kindness and service. Our room was spacious and clean. Location was the best for walking everywhere. I would highly recommend Springhill suites.
Parking was too expensive $30 per day. Valet by a separate company. No concierge services. No shuttle service to/from Airport, Amtrak. Rooms were great. Breakfast excellent. Beale street within walking distance. Didn't know about the trolley until it was too late. Would've loved to have rode on it. Need full cost disclosure, for each guest returned home with additional cost charged to my card.
Reggie and Q were very nice and provided great hospitality. The breakfast was pretty good. Hotel suites are spacious but very dark. Not enough lighting. There's no parking close by so you have to use their valet. They were pretty quick with the retrieval. A lot of homeless people around the neighborhood parks so not to sure about that but they seemed pretty harmless.
Great hotel definitely 5 stars!! First time staying at this location. One of the better hotels in downtown Memphis. Upon arrival customer service was friendly and attentive. Room was very clean, spacious, towels were fluffy and plenty of amenities. Went down for breakfast and they had a great breakfast with many options available. Will definitely stay at this location again.
